A Brief History
At the core of our practice is James Buskirk – founder, CEO and renowned expert in vestibular rehabilitation. Since 1985, Jim has been working closely with primary care and specialist physicians, physical therapists, professional sports trainers, Department of Defense medical teams and researchers throughout the US. Additionally, Jim teaches medical students at several local universities in the Chicago area. These treatment relationships, research and education programs are the foundation of Peak's practice.

Effective patient care consists of two factors: one is the patients' diagnosis and treatment programs; and the other is the close working relationship with the patients' physicians where we strive for a seamless patient referral process and clear, timely communication regarding patients.
